Karni Bhawan was home to the erstwhile feudatories known as Sodawas, the Bhati Rajputs of the lunar dynasty. This art-deco Palace was built by Maharaja Karni Singh as one of his luxurious residences in 1940's. This Colonial bungalow was first converted into a Heritage Hotel having just 12 rooms. By 1994 the hotel had expanded to strength of 31-luxury air-conditioned rooms and suites.
