Bijay Niwas Palace

Built as a summer retreat by Rao Bijay Singhji, the ruler of Masuda in Rajasthan around 1910, Bijay Niwas is a fine blend of Rajputana and colonial architecture. Nestling a culture of warm hospitality and dauntless valor, the palace has opened its gates to welcome the world into its four walls, which till now was an exclusive royal prerogative. Located in the district of Ajmer, it is one of the most popular heritage hotels in the northern region. This ancient heritage building is set in the midst of 50 acres of fruit orchard where guests can go for long walks and enjoy the fresh air.

The artistically designed suites are all reminiscent of the royal ambience due to the presence of original vintage furniture and exotic scenario of traditional Rajasthani wall murals and frescoes. All this is enough to transport the guest's back in to a world of unparalleled riches and consummate luxuries. The eight royal rooms provide all modern amenities like attached bath with hot/cold water, safety lockers, telephones, televisions and 24 hours room service. The heritage hotel also has a doctor on call, travel assistance, conference facilities, swimming pool, tennis courts and organizes camel and horse rides as well as jeep safaris. The chefs at the multi-cuisine restaurant at Bijay Niwas Palace prepare deliciously spiced dishes that recreate the special Ajmer regalia. Popular among guests is the quiet dinner besides the bonfire and the bar-be-cue, and a relaxing sunny morning breakfast in the lawns.

This royal retreat serves as an ideal getaway that still retains the same tranquil ambience even today - that of a royal gateway.
