Vilas Palace was built as a royal residence in the year 1938 by
Maharaja Ganesh Pal Deo Bhadur, the then ruler of Karauli. Designed
in a colonial style and furnished in art - decor period furniture,
the spacious grounds of the Palace are home to a variety of plants
and animals. The interiors are done in such a manner that the
entire thing bespeaks of a regal ambience. Located in the Shekhawati
region, at a distance of 180 kilometers from the airport, this
